The Technical Monuments in Region And How to Use Them in Primary School Education

This diploma thesis describes the topic of technical monuments of the region and their use in teaching at the primary school. In the theoretical part, I deal with four main areas. The first area is devoted to the characteristics of the child of younger school age. The second area deals with primary technical literacy, its goals, concepts and components. The third area gives a brief description of the technical areas in the RVP ZV. The fourth and final area deals with the characteristics of selected objects of the pupil's place of residence for application in technical education at the primary school. The practical part contains three lesson preparations and two preparations that have been implemented. The developed and verified preparations are intended for pupils from the second to the fifth year of primary school. The practical part contains worksheets and reflections from the lessons.

Possible Ways of Using Regional Objects as Ideas for Technical Excursions at Primary School

The diploma thesis is focuses on uses of regional objects as ideas for technical excursions at the primary school. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is divided into six theoritical areas. The first area is focused on motivational teaching methods. The second area is devoted to activating teaching methods at primary school. The third area includes the clarification of key concepts such as: research-oriented teaching, technical education, technical literacy and technical creativity. Part four describes technical subjects in Educational program for basic education. The fifth area is focused on the description of the organizational form - an excursion. The final area of the theoretical part offers the characteristics of regional objects with the technical focus of the selected region, which are used in the processed topics. The practical part includes five topics of technically focused objects, which can be implemented in teaching with primary school pupils.

Industrial Heritage of Kladno

Industrial buildings and businesses are inherently to face the Central Bohemian city of Kladno. Through field research is captured in the work of the Kladno current state of industrial monuments and mapped their history. I used only specific cases that are written between technical monuments and they are interesting both from a historical and urban or technical perspective. Thanks capture the historical and contemporary situation arose holistic view of technical monuments in the area and at the same time there was a familiarity with the approach and in terms of the industrial heritage. The work is divided into three main parts. The first is devoted to an introduction to the issues and explain the basic concepts. The second part focuses on the history of metallurgy and mining in the Kladno and also explores the main sights, except where their history is mentioned as the current status. The third section shows the current utilization of monuments, looking for inspiration in the Czech Republic and abroad, how to dispose of unused objects and finally introduces activities that help attract the public's interest in technical monuments and sights mainly to help themselves. Technical monuments in selected region and their use in tourism

The aim of the thesis is to characterize the concept of technical monuments, analyze the technical monuments in selected region, and present a research on utilization of these monuments. The goal is to design a tour to increase the utilization of the selected technical monuments in Ostrava city, as it is a region where many of the interesting technical monuments are located.

The Technical Monuments in Třeboň Region And How to Use Them in Primary School Education

The topic of this thesis is called "Technical Landmarks in the Třeboňsko Region and their Application in First Grade Primary School Education." The theoretical part focuses on project teaching and the competencies of the first grade primary school pupil in the area of technical education according to the FEP for basic education, chapter "Humans and Their World (Člověk a jeho svět)". Furthermore, this thesis deals with technical landmarks in the Třeboňsko region. The practical part contains several technical landmarks which may be used as inspiration when creating educational projects for structural and technical education. Some of these projects have been applied in teaching in a small-class primary school. The final part of the thesis contains questionnaires given to first grade primary school teachers to test the indicative functionality of these projects.

Urban and architectural transformation of a former industrial site Karolina

The work deals with urban and architectural development of the industrial site Karolina in Ostrava. In terms of similar industrial areas, Karolina is outstanding in unusual location in the vicinity of the city center. On the edge of the central Moravian Ostrava was growing in the late 19th and throughout the 20th century industrial park with an area of around thirty hectares, which had an impact on the overall image of the city. The local coking plant and the near Žofínský smelter were operated until the second half of 20th century when the heavy industry started loosing its importance. With plans for the necessary redevelopment of the area was also important to show how to use the whole area in the future. Even in the end of the '60s was first few urbanistic studies. Some of them included demolition of the local buildings and also a solution for the new area look in the future. Proposals for the completion of Karolina were many, since the late '80s there were several urban planning and architectural competitions and later in 2000 even with international participation. The surprising result of forty years of development for the Karolina, eventually in 2006 became a developer competition, which notionally sealed the development of the entire area in the future.
